Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT CHANGES ARE YOU MAKING DUE TO CORONAVIRUS?

We are continuing to evaluate & adapt our response to coronavirus (COVID-19). For the most up-to-date information, please click HERE. For detailed information about specific changes we are making to our worship services, click HERE.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Simply come as you are. You'll find a wide variety of styles here, from "dressed up" to casual - it's all acceptable.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
For the time being, we will not have separate kids activities at the church. Your kids are welcome to join you during the morning worship service, and we'll restart nursery and children's church when we feel it is safe to do so.

WILL I BE ASKED TO GIVE MONEY?
No. Our members and regular attenders give joyfully and generously to support the ministry here. You are welcome to give if you feel God wants you to give, but don't feel any pressure from us.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED AT IMMANUEL?
There are many opportunities for you to be involved. Sunday School is the best way to get started, and there are many other ways to be active in the church. Just let us know what your interests are and we will do our best to find a place for you to get involved!

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
Membership at Immanuel is about a commitment to being a part of what God is doing here, a commitment to serve, and a commitment to being a vital part of this community of believers. If you have questions about what this means for you, our pastors are available at the end of our services, or you can contact us anytime.

WHAT DENOMINATION IS IMMANUEL?
Immanuel Baptist Church is a local, autonomous church affiliated with The Southern Baptist Convention, a group of over 40,000 churches partnering together to spread the Gospel around the world.
