Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Simply come as you are. You'll find a wide variety of styles here, from "dressed up" to casual - it's all acceptable.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Your entire family is welcome at Immanuel!  Children ages 3 and under have classes just for them in our nursery during the entirety of our services. Our nursery is located on the first floor of the Gaddy Building, which is the building on the far left when viewed from the main parking lot.

For elementary children and teenagers, we have age-specific groups that meet on the second floor of the Gaddy Building the same time we offer classes for our adults on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and Wednesday evenings.

Every adult volunteer who serves with children of any age has an up-to-date background check on file.

WILL I BE ASKED TO GIVE MONEY?
No. Our members and regular attenders give joyfully and generously to support the ministry here. You are welcome to give if you feel God wants you to give, but don't feel any pressure from us.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED AT IMMANUEL?
There are many opportunities for you to be involved. Sunday School is the best way to get started, and there are many other ways to be active in the church. Just let us know what your interests are and we will do our best to find a place for you to get involved!

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
Membership at Immanuel is about a commitment to being a part of what God is doing here, a commitment to serve, and a commitment to being a vital part of this community of believers. If you have questions about what this means for you, our pastors are available at the end of our services, or you can contact us anytime.

WHAT DENOMINATION IS IMMANUEL?
