Ministry to our children at Immanuel Baptist Church is centered around helping children choose to follow Jesus in ways that will make a difference in who they are and in how they live. We cannot decide for our children but we can walk alongside them, offering affirmation and information. We pray that when the time is right, God will draw them to Himself in a way that will make a difference forever. Immanuel is glad to have many weekly activities for our Children, from birth to rising 6th graders, that aid in allowing our children to become closer to God. Music Camp, Vacation Bible School, Easter Eggstravaganza, and the Pumpkin Patch Party are also offered throughout the year to minister to our children.

Babies - Pre K

Preschoolers begin to learn about God and His love for them from their first years of life. Immanuel Baptist Church provides a safe, fun and age appropriate environment for preschool children of all ages.

Children's Church

Ages Four - Nine

IBC realizes that different age groups worship and understand God at differing levels. Because of this, we intentionally host a Children’s Church every Sunday morning. Families are encouraged to bring their children from ages four to nine to the regular morning service and sit with their family’s as we worship corporately, at the conclusion of, the children are dismissed to Children’s Church after coming forward to listen to a Children’s Sermon. During this time, our children learn more about Jesus through Bible Study, coloring and crafts. For further information concerning Children's Church please contact the Church Office at 912-354-0538.

Children's and Preschool Choir

Music is an important part of the ministry here at Immanuel Baptist Church and we intentionally integrate our children into this essential aspect of worship. IBC hosts two Children’s Choirs: Kinder-choir (ages 2-K) at 6:30pm and E-Praise (grades 1-5) at 7pm.
