Children's Ministry @ Immanuel

Wherever and whoever you are, WE'RE HERE for you! Jesus loves you & so do we! Life can be challenging and WE'RE HERE for you & your family. WE'RE HERE to help you know who God is & experience what he does. WE'RE HERE to give you an opportunity to be part of something bigger than you. WE'RE HERE because God is here for you!

Ministry to children at Immanuel is centered around helping children follow Jesus in ways that will make a difference in who they are and how they live. We cannot decide for our children, but we can walk alongside them, offering affirmation & information. We pray that when the time is right, God will draw them to Himself in a way that will make a difference forever. Immanuel is glad to have weekly activities for children, from birth through 5th grade, that lead children closer to God.

Throughout the year, we also host large-group events, such as Music Camp & Vacation Bible School, that help children know who God is & experience what he does.

Parents, WE'RE HERE for you! You are the #1 influence in your child's life, and we want to partner with & equip you to lead them to follow Jesus. We look forward to getting to know you & serving your family the best way we can.

Babies - Pre K

Preschoolers begin to learn about God and His love for them from their first years of life. We provide a safe, fun, and age-appropriate environment for preschool children beginning at 6 weeks old.

Children's Church

Ages 4 - 9

Because children worship & understand God at a different level, we have Children’s Church every Sunday during the morning worship serve. Families are encouraged to bring their children from ages 4 to 9 to the regular morning service and worship together. After the offering, children are dismissed to Children’s Church in the Family Life Center (gym). During this time, our children learn more about Jesus through Bible Study, games, and crafts. After the morning worship service, parents can pick up their kids from the Family Life Center.

Children's & Preschool Choir

Music is an important part of the ministry at Immanuel, and we intentionally integrate our children into this essential aspect of worship.

We hosts two children’s choirs every Wednesday evening in the Gaddy Building:

  • Kinder-choir (ages 2-K) at 6:30 pm
  • E-Praise (grades 1-5) at 7:00 pm.

Parents' Night Out

Parents' Night Out is a childcare ministry of childcare for the community. The children enjoy music, crafts, snacks, recreation, and a Bible story time.

Parent's Night Out happens every other month on the first Friday from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, and is for children from 3 months to 5th grade. RSVPs are required by noon the Thursday prior to ensure we have enough adult leaders.

For the information about the next Parent's Night Out, including RSVPs, check out our Parent's Night Out Facebook Group.

Mission Friends

Ages 3-Kindergarten

Mission Friends provides the building blocks of faith and a basic awareness of God’s love for all people. Immanuel is committed to the discipleship process that Jesus laid out in Matthew 28:19-20, and this includes children. Join the fun as we lay a foundation for the future through the lives of our children in Mission Friends!

Mission Friends meet at 7pm on Wednesday evenings, following Kinder-Choir.

Royal Ambassadors

Royal Ambassadors (RA) is a missions discipleship organization for boys in grades 1-5. Through hands-on activities that encourage spiritual growth, games and sports, and mentoring relationships with RA leaders, RA members become a faith-based brotherhood.

The RA's meet from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesdays nights, upstairs in the Gaddy Building.

Girls in Action

Girls in Action (GAs) is a missions discipleship organization for girls. Every girl in grades 1-5 can be a part of GA's! GA members learn about, pray for, give to, and do missions work. They also make new friends and have lots of fun!

GA's meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm until 7:00 pm, upstairs in the Gaddy Building.
